Before you write

Four quick checks.

  • Install the latest VaultCopy Agent from the official download page.
  • Keep the Agent running in the Mac menu bar.
  • Keep Mac and iPhone on the same reachable local network.
  • If the saved connection is stale, tap Check Mac or pair again with the current QR code.

Please include the macOS version, iPhone model and iOS version, VaultCopy app and Agent versions, approximate vault size, and the exact action that did not complete.

Useful subjects include “VaultCopy Support - Pairing,” “VaultCopy Support - Purchase,” and “VaultCopy Support - Restore.”

Keep your recovery secrets private. Do not send passphrases, pairing tokens, full QR payloads, backup packages, or note contents. A redacted screenshot of the visible error is usually enough to begin.

Install

Use the DMG from this domain. The Mac Agent is Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled for Gatekeeper.

Pair

Show a fresh QR code in the Agent and scan it while both devices are locally reachable.

Purchase

If the product or Restore Purchase is unavailable, include your storefront country and the exact message shown. Do not send Apple Account credentials.

Restore

Verify the package first and select a new or empty folder. VaultCopy intentionally refuses to overwrite an existing vault.
